If you have registered but can no longer attend\, kindly let us know at training@gendersafe.eu.***\nEsta formação aborda a problemática da violência baseada no género no meio académico\, com enfoque no modelo das 7P desenvolvido pelo projeto UniSAFE: Prevalência\, Prevenção\, Proteção\, Punição\, Prestação de serviços\, Parcerias e Políticas.  \nAo longo da sessão\, as pessoas participantes terão oportunidade de conhecer os principais enquadramentos e prioridades das políticas europeias para o combate à violência baseada no género na investigação e no ensino superior\, bem como de identificar exemplos concretos e inspiradores já implementados em diferentes instituições europeias.  \nRecomenda-se que as pessoas participantes se familiarizem previamente com as políticas institucionais das suas próprias organizações.  \nObjetivos de aprendizagem\n\nAdquirir uma compreensão comum dos principais conceitos relacionados com a violência baseada no género e compreender o seu impacto no meio académico. \n\n\nConhecer a prevalência da violência baseada no género no campo da investigação e identificar as suas características específicas. \n\n\nEntender o modelo das 7P do projeto UniSAFE — Prevalência\, Prevenção\, Proteção\, Punição\, Prestação de serviços\, Parcerias e Políticas — que representa uma abordagem holística para enfrentar a violência baseada no género em instituições de ensino superior e centros de investigação. \n\n\nIdentificar boas práticas inspiradoras para a criação e implementação de políticas institucionais destinadas a prevenir e responder à violência baseada no género\, com base em experiências de instituições europeias de ensino superior e centros de investigação e dos Estados-Membros no âmbito do modelo das 7P. \n\nPúblico-alvo\n\nResponsáveis de unidades/pontos focais de igualdade e/ou diversidade \n\n\nEquipas de recursos humanos \n\n\nEquipas de implementação de Planos de Igualdade de Género \n\n\nResponsáveis de saúde e segurança no trabalho \n\n\nDireções de departamentos/unidades com responsabilidades ou envolvimento em temas de violência baseada no género \n\n\nEquipas de formação que trabalhem temáticas de igualdade\, diversidade e/ou violencia baseada no género no contexto académico \n\nEsta formação destina-se sobretudo a pessoas e equipas que se encontram nas fases iniciais de criação e implementação de políticas institucionais para enfrentar a violência baseada no género no meio académico. Dado o número limitado de vagas\, será dada prioridade a participantes que se encontrem nas fases iniciais de desenvolvimento e implementação de políticas sobre esta matéria nas suas instituições e que correspondam ao perfil indicado. Terão preferencia participantes provenientes de países que integram o Horizonte Europa\, com especial atenção aos países abrangidos pela iniciativa “Widening” da Comissão Europeia. Agradecemos a compreensão\, pois procuramos garantir uma diversidade de perfis e de contextos institucionais entre as pessoas participantes.  \nConheça a formadora\nFernanda Campanini é doutorada em Direitos Humanos pela Universidade de Deusto (Espanha) e especialista em transformação institucional e Planos de Igualdade de Género. Fez parte da equipa de coordenação do projeto europeu GEARING-Roles e da Unidade de Responsabilidade Social Universitária da Universidade de Deusto. Atualmente\, trabalha como consultora e investigadora em igualdade de género e violência baseada no género na Fundação EDE (Bilbao)\, onde presta assessoria técnica a organismos da administração pública e a entidades privadas na elaboração e implementação de políticas igualdade.  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Introductory training on gender-based violence in academia and the 7P framework\n10 February 2026\, 09.30 – 15.00 Portuguese time   \nTraining language: Portuguese   \nThis training explores the issue of gender-based violence in academia\, focusing on UniSAFE’s 7P model: Prevalence\, Prevention\, Protection\, Prosecution\, Provision of services\, Partnerships\, and Policies. Participants will gain insights into the main EU policy frameworks and priorities aimed at addressing gender-based violence in research and academia\, getting concrete advice and inspired by inspiring practices already implemented in other institutions across the EU.    \nWe encourage participants to familiarise themselves with the institutional policies of their organisations/institutions.   \nLearning objectives: \n\nGain a common understanding of concepts related to gender-based violence and understand its impact in academia. \n\n\nLearn about the prevalence of gender-based violence in the research field and highlight its specific characteristics. \n\n\nUnderstand the 7 Ps model of UniSAFE (Prevalence\, Prevention\, Protection\, Prosecution\, Provision of services\, Partnerships and Policies) which represents a holistic approach to address gender-based violence in higher education institutions and research organisations. \n\n\nGet informed about inspiring practices for setting up and implementing institutional policies to address gender-based violence in academia adopted by European and Member States higher education institutions and research organisations within the framework of the 7 Ps. \n\n  \nWho is it for?   \n\nGender equality officers/focal points\, equality and/or diversity officers \n\n\nHuman resources officers \n\n\nGender equality plan implementing teams \n\n\nHealth and safety officers \n\n\nHead of Departments/Units in charge or involved in gender-based violence \n\n\nTrainers on the topic of gender-based violence in academic settings \n\n  \nThe training is addressed to those at the beginning stages of creating and implementing a policy framework to address gender-based violence in academia.  As seats are limited\, priority will be given to individuals at the initial stages of developing and implementing policy to address gender-based violence within their institution and correspond to the profile of participants. Preference will be given to individuals from countries participating in Horizon Europe\, with special consideration for registrants from ‘Widening countries’ as defined by the European Commission. We kindly ask for your understanding as we strive to include a diverse range of participants.  \nIntroducing the trainer \nFernanda Campanini holds a PhD in Human Rights from the University of Deusto (Spain) and specialised in institutional change and Gender Equality Plans. She was part of the coordination team of the European project GEARING-Roles and of the University Social Responsibility Unit at the University of Deusto. For the last six years\, he has taught data protection law to students from a wide variety of jurisdictions. Before joining CEU\, Tommaso worked as a dispute settlement lawyer at the World Trade Organization and as an associate attorney at Sidley Austin LLP. He regularly serves as a consultant for intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations on matters of trade and investment law. He has earned degrees from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies\, Harvard Law School\, Sciences Po Paris\, and the University of Turin\, and has been called to the Bar of New York.  \nDiana Puerto Michaut is a lawyer\, working as the Legal Circle Facilitator in GenderSAFE at Central European University\, where she supports participants in developing and enhancing gender-based violence policies within their institutions. In her experience as an attorney\, she provided legal counsel and courtroom representation to women survivors of gender-based violence in Argentina. Her prior work includes strategic litigation and research on women’s rights violations under CEDAW and within international human rights law.
