Project summary

Short version

The EU-funded GenderSAFE project (2024 – 2027) aims to advance zero-tolerance to gender-based violence in the European Research Area. Building on the research and tools developed in the UniSAFE project, it supports research and higher education institutions in establishing safe, inclusive and respectful environments by developing and implementing efficient and comprehensive policies.

More specifically, it aims to strengthen zero-tolerance policies; support higher education and research institutions through mutual learning; build institutional capacities; monitor policies at national and institutional levels; raise awareness and advocate for policies with zero-tolerance to gender-based violence.
