GenderSAFE Trainers

As part of one of GenderSAFE’s objectives to build institutional capacities to set up and implement gender-based violence policies, the project has not only provided trainings to responsible staff and officers, we have also trained trainers!

Our training programme integrated methodologies and insights from the GE Academy and UniSAFE projects, using participatory feminist methodologies to ensure active engagement and experiential learning. The two sessions organised aimed to empower trainers with the skills and knowledge necessary to address gender-based violence in research and academia, as summarised in this report.

The following list includes professional, experienced trainers who have successfully completed the GenderSAFE training programme, delivered in line with the GE Academy quality standards for gender equality training. Working in Spain, Austria, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Portugal, Czech Republic, and Slovenia, they are available to support higher education institutions and research organisations in raising awareness and strengthening institutional responses to gender-based violence. They work in English and in national languages. Trainers are listed according to their expressed preferences.
