Gender-Based Violence in Academia: Raising Awareness and Exploring Good Practices
This webinar is organised as a joint initiative of the INCLUDE and GenderSAFE projects, bringing together perspectives and experiences on preventing and addressing gender-based violence in academic and research environments.
Gender-based violence remains a significant challenge in higher education and research institutions, affecting the safety, wellbeing, and professional development of students, researchers, and staff. The session will explore how institutions can foster safer and more inclusive academic environments through effective policies, stronger institutional responses, prevention, and accountability. Drawing on experiences from the GenderSAFE project, Diana Puerto Michaut will also present practical approaches and examples of good practices supporting sustainable institutional change.
